Reflections on Today’s Service
We were actively included, affirmed and encouraged by Pastor
John at First Assembly this morning.
And we had an extra special blessing to have the entire church sing a
welcome song to us.
Immediately after service we raced back to the compound,
then boarded vehicles for surf lessons.
The STN surfing ministry crew spent hours training us on land and in the
water. Everyone who wanted to (and
a few who didn’t) got to paddle out for some waves. We stayed oceanside until almost dark.
This was a most relaxing day and our laughter could be heard
from far, far away.
Surfing is tough! Props to everyone who tried it. I hope to see some pictures of this day soon. Continuing to pray for you all.
